It's amazing that after living here for 6 years, winding your way through the neighborhoods of San Francisco is still so fun and interesting. In just four hours, we walked through the latin Mission, quiet and quaint Duboce Circle, the infamous Haight which was busy throwing a crazy street fair, Golden Gate Park, the opulent mansions of Pacific heights, the practical suburbs in the avenues, the dramatic cliffside views of Land's End, and finally ending at Ocean Beach. I don't thik I've ever been to another city that packs such diversity in such a relatively small area. It reminds why I love living here so much.
Purify the colors, purify my mind. And spread the ashes
Of the colors
over this heart of mine

9.97
9.97. That's the distance, in miles, that T and I walked on our little urban hike in San Francisco this past Sunday. It was a gorgeous day, so we took advantage of the fantastic weather and hiked to the Land's End trail in the north western tip of the city.
