Shooting at a 1000 frames per second is something that's been done before (and for reference, movies are usually shot at 24fps, and videogames are lucky to hit 60fps), but I always love the effect it captures. This isn't slow motion, mind you, it's just that playing back those frames at a normal 24fps gives that illusion, but there is so much more fidelity and nuance in this method.
It also doesn't hurt to have such an adorable subject matter.
And you may be asking yourself if I'm ever going to update this blog with something relevant ... you're not alone ... I ask myself the same thing all the time.
